NEWS FLASH - January 2004 At about 8pm on Friday 23rd January (after a big day entertaining children at the Palm City Oasis Shopping Centre), Candy the Wonder Dog got bitten by something, maybe a snake! She is OK now though, thanks to her friends at University Avenue Veterinary Clinic. It appears that Candy may have been bitten by a snake that is not too dangerous. It was certainly a very big fright however for me and I’m very glad that she is healthy again. The vet had to shave Candy’s front and back legs to put a needle (and drip) into her to keep her well, so if you see Candy soon you will notice her not so hairy legs. The moral of this story for Candy is that she should not go running around outside at night time without a torch, and neither should you kids!
Candy the Wonder Dog is a very talented and special performer who plays and integral role in Kidz Fun Biz. Her skills include jumping through hoops, jumps, rolling, crawling, skipping, acting, acrobatics, magic and synchronised swimming. Candy has a strange allergy to Smarties that brings her out in coloured spots. She performs with Miss Deb at parties and with Chantal The Fairy at special events.
Call Miss Deb on 0427 615 097 (Darwin, NT) to find out if Candy is available to perform at your birthday party or event - Please do take care however to invite Miss Deb along as well!!
Candy often upstages Miss Deb. Recently, children who spotted Miss Deb in a shopping centre were overheard saying “there’s Candy the Wonder Dog’s assistant”
Miss Deb & Candy are available for private parties, events & functions.
